I'm a passionatesoftware engineer based in Boston, MA, with a keen interest in leveraging technology to tackle big data challenges. My expertise spans various domains, including web development, application design, data pipelines, and scripting. Constantly driven by curiosity, my goal is to continuously expand my skills and knowledge, embracing new technologies and methodologies along the way.

Beyond coding, I find joy in exploring diverse interests. I'm an avid player of Go, a lover of fitness and health pursuits, and I often find myself drawn to the piano, albeit occasionally procrastinating on learning. With a commitment to lifelong learning and a thirst for innovation, I strive to make meaningful contributions in both my professional and personal pursuits.

Skills

During college I've only ever stuck with the back-end (C, C++, Java), but since then I've picked up a few things for front-end/full stack developement. I've been learning various languages and tools, even way back when LAMP stack was mainstream. My main focus right now is Python and Django but I'm open to anything!

During my college years, my focus primarily revolved around back-end development, mastering languages such as C, C++, and Java. However, since then, I've embarked on a journey to broaden my skill set, delving into the realm of front-end and full-stack development. From the days when the LAMP stack reigned supreme to the present, I've continuously expanded my knowledge, embracing various languages and tools.

Currently, my primary focus lies in Python and Django, where I've been deeply immersing myself. However, my curiosity knows no bounds, and I'm always eager to explore new technologies and frameworks. With a passion for continuous learning and growth, I remain open-minded and adaptable, ready to tackle any challenge that comes my way.

University of Massachusetts Boston

Bachelor of Science - Computer Science

Earned my B.S in their CS program, accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, which assures the quality for degree programs in applied science, computing, engineering, and technology. Here I gained a strong understanding of the core fundamentals of CS including software design and development, data structures, algorithms, computer organization and computer architecture.

As for my electives, I focused on System Administration and Data Engineering, including dealing with different operating systems, computer architectures, server deployment, database management, data pipeline, and SQL Procedures.
